Appointments
The UWC uses a scheduling system called WCOnline.
Appointment Policies
- Schedule a 30-minute or a 60-minute appointment.
- Writing conferences (appointments) must be held at least 48 hours before the assignment is due. The date the appointment is scheduled does not factor into the 48-hour scheduling policy.
- Arrive on time, actively participate, and stay for the entire appointment.
- Have your camera on for all virtual appointments.
Scheduling Details
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, call us at (336) 285-3531 at least 2 hours in advance of the appointment.
- If you need to change your session from in-person to virtual, call us at (336) 285-3531 at least 1 hours in advance of the appointment.
- If you are 10 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled. If you are running late, call us at (336) 285-3531.
- If you meet with a consultant less than 20 minutes for a 30-minute appointment, your appointment will be cancelled.
- If you meet with a consultant less than 50 minutes for a 60-minute appointment, your appointment will be cancelled.
STEPS TO REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT:
- Visit https://ncat.mywconline.com/
- Use your NCAT email address and password to create an account (new users).
- Create a strong password.
- Complete registration form.
- Click “Complete Registration.”
STEPS TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:
NOTE: Upload your materials (draft, assignment, rubric, etc.) to WCOnline, so a consultants can review your materials before you arrive (see WCOnline for our scheduling protocol. Mobile users click on "View the announcements.").
- Visit https://ncat.mywconline.com/
- Use your NCAT email address and password to log in.
- Select a white box to schedule a thirty-minute or a one-hour appointment.
- Click “Yes. Schedule Online Appointment” if you prefer an online appointment. On the day of your appointment,
- click on your appointment and
- click on the red link titled “Start or Join Online Consultation.”
- click on the blue link titled “Start or Join Online Consultation” to connect with a consultant.
